Exercise caution when opening attachments or clicking links, especially from unknown senders. Dear Planning Commissioners, I want to thank you for again reviewing the current county code allowing recreational marijuana facilities in Rural Residential areas of Jefferson County. You now have the study provided by the DCD staff for you to consider and weigh in making your decision. It is very gratifying to realize after 4.5 years of effort that the voices of the people you represent were heard. After considered study and time to assess the impacts of growing and processing marijuana the DCD has decided to recommend not only prohibitng such operations in Rural Residential zones but also Forest Resource lands. I applaud their reasoned decision, their willingness to look at the facts, and their patience in listening to the concerns of their citizens. With the above in mind I ask you also to come to the conclusion that a revision of the code allowing marijuana processing and grow operations in Rural Residential zones be undertaken and the will of the majority and common sense shape that policy going forward. As always, I am extremely grateful for the time and sacrifice you continue to give for the benefit of our beautiful county and for those of us who have the privilege of living here. With Respect, John Gonnella Marrowstone Island
