CALL TO ORDER: Washington State Association of Counties (WSAC) staff called the
Timber Counties Caucus—Trust Land Performance Assessment Workshop virtual meeting to order in
the presence of Commissioner Greg Brotherton, Commissioner Heidi Eisenhour, as well as many other
Commissioners and County Officials across Washington State.
DISCUSSION with Other Washington State Counties and Washington State
Association of Counties (WSAC) Staff: The participants of the meeting discussed the following topics:
• Update—Adaptive Management Program
o TFW Policy Committee
o CMER
• Forest Practices Board
• Board of Natural Resources
• Legislative Update and Workshop Introduction
• Presentation re: State Forest Trust Lands History& Background
• Presentation re: TLPA Report
o Valuation Findings, Initial Ideas &Next Steps
• Presentation Debrief Discussion
o WSAC Engagement with DNR
o Ideas and Assessment, Diversification Discussion
