I have just reviewed an article in the the Wall Street Journal listing each state’s Covid vaccine eligibility phase.
Washington is one of only a few states that are still only vaccinating folks 65 or older while many states are at least
50 years old. Even if the state is at 65 or 60, folks with certain medical conditions can be vaccinated earlier. For
example chronic kidney disease. I am 57 with Stage 2 Renal disease, 3 autoimmune diseases and asthma and yet
when I go to the Washington vaccine phase finder I am still not eligible for a vaccine!!!! WHY THE HELL NOT!!!
I would be eligible in a majority of other states! I want to visit my mother with terminal cancer in New York, I am
her only child, yet I can’t get vaccinated so I can travel safely!! THIS IS NOT FAIR!! WHEN WILL I BE
ELIGIBLE!!!
