Statement of Issue: As a part of her contract with Jefferson County, Ms. Parcher is required to carry certain insurance policies. She has recently found insurance that is less costly than what she had previously. This Contract Amendment No. 1 to the contract for 2021-2023, modifies Section 4. Compensation, to reflect the new costs of the insurance. The new insurance will save the County $17,000 annually. An advance on the premium is due by the end of this month. An Amendment Attachment B is also included. Analysis: None. Alternatives: None. Fiscal Impact: At this point, the savings look like $17,000 per year. My Department budget includes funds for this insurance. Recommendations__, _ That the Board, ign thr�pendertf apresented. viez /p J Approved by: / ��P..i 'i ore , ty ministr for AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO AGREEMENT OF JEFFERSON COUNTY AND KELLI PARCHER, INC FOR PROCTOR HOUSE AND PROCTOR PROGRAM SERVICES The Agreement of Jefferson County and Kelli Parcher, Inc. For Proctor House and Proctor Program Services, executed on March 22, 2021 between Jefferson County and Kelli Parcher, Inc. (the Agreement) is hereby amended as follows. 1. Section 4. Compensation is hereby amended as follows: 4. Compensation. The total amount of the contract shall be as follows: a. For April 1 2021 through December 31, 2021, the County shall pay the contractor as follows: i. On or before 15 days after the Effective Date, the County shall pay the contractor the sum of $16,542.00 as an advance on the insurance premium required by the contract. ii. For April 1, 2021 through December 31, 2021, the County shall pay the Contractor the sum of $16,383.00 per month, which shall be paid within days of the Contractor's submission of the accounting required by Section 7. iii. For January 1, 2022 to December 31, 2022,the County shall pay the Contractor the sum of$17,798.00 per month, which shall be paid within days of the Contractor's submission of the accounting required by Section 7. iv. For January 1, 2023 to December 31, 2023,the County shall pay the Contractor the sum of$17,999.00 per month, which shall be paid within days of the Contractor's submission of the accounting required by Section 7. v. Work performed consistent with this Agreement on or after April 1,2021 but before execution of this Agreement is hereby ratified. 2. Attachment B. The content of Attachment B referred to in Section 7a and 7b is amended to reflect the modifications set forth in the amendment to Section 4. See attached Amended Attachment B. 3.
