Part 6 - Project Description
6a.Briefly summarize the overall project. You can provide more detail in 6b. [help]
Repair to the existing dock will include removing the 2x12 wooden planks that are currently around the existing
piling. The piling will then have two halve of HDPE plastic pipe around them, which will be anchored together with
stainless steel fasteners and filling each with concrete. All work will be done from upland with the subject property
providing all access for equipment, materials and laborers.
6b. Describe the purpose of the project and why you want or need to perform it. [help]
Pilings along the overwater dock to the floating dock are in need of repair. All work will be done above the
concrete pads. These pads will remain. All work will be done by hand at low tides. No increased footprint of the
pilings.
