SUBJECT: ADVISORY BOARD REAPPOINTMENT re: Solid Waste Advisory
Committee District 3 Citizen Representative
STATEMENT OF ISSUE:
Tim Deverin serves as the Solid Waste Advisory Committee (SWAC) District 3 citizen
representative. His initial appointment on December 21, 2020 was for the unexpired
term of the previous District 3 member, which ended February 2021. Tim wants to
continue to serve on the SWAC and has asked to be reappointed for a full two-year
term.
ANALYSIS:
An email was received from Tim Deverin requesting he be reappointed for a two-year
term. A local SWAC is mandated by RCW 70.95.165(3). Costs associated with SWAC
activity are identified in the 2020 Solid Waste Budget.
RECOMMENDATION:
Approve the reappointment and update the membership list.
