The proposed detached garage meets the 250' setback requirement for the adjacent
commerical forestry parcel and meets the 100' buffer plus 10' setback from the OHWM of
the Silent Lake shoreline.
No buffer or geotechnical report is required for the proposed development within the
seismic area (The two adjacent properties have no geotechnical reports for the
development within the seismic areas).
JCC 18.22.530 (11)(b) Seismic Hazard Development Standards:
Development activities or actions requiring a project permit within a seismic hazard area
shall be in accordance with JCC Title 15.
JCC 18.22.530(15)(a)(b) Seismic Hazard Areas – Standards. Development may be
allowed in seismic hazard areas when all of the following apply:
