"As we are much lower we also have concerns with storm water drainage. There is a drain line that runs across that lot that ends at a ditch on fleet drive. We currently have no drainage issues. This line may be damaged during construction. Is there a storm water drainage plan we can review". 2. . "Actually, my inquiry was not about a potential drain. It concerned the existing french drain that runs along the lower (downslope) edge of the property and discharges stormwater into the drainage ditch along Fleet. That existing drain appears to be functioning adequately for now as we have seen no flooding in our upper back yard. Our concern is for potential damage to that drain from heavy machinery traffic, stump removal, etc. We had expected that the County could document what is there and provide assurances within the proposed building permit that the existing drainage functions will be maintained during and after construction".
