Dear JERRY & ERIN MARTIN:
The Department of Community Development is in the process of reviewing your application. The
following information is needed to continue review of your project.
The site plan submitted on April 20, 2021 indicates that roof runoff will be directed to a roadside
ditch. Roof runoff must be dispersed or infiltrated onsite and must not change how water moves
across the property relative to current (i.e., pre-development) conditions. Elevation information for
this parcel indicates that surface water runoff naturally moves downgradient to the east. Stormwater
proposals must comply with the 2019 Stormwater Management Manual for Western Washington ,
and that manual presents design specifications and figures beginning on page 705. Please resubmit
a site plan with a revised proposal to address roof runoff .
Please submit the above information to the Department of Community Development within 90 days
of the date of this letter which would be 7/26/2021. Please call 360-379-4450 to speak with the
assigned planner if you have any questions.

Dear JERRY & ERIN MARTIN:
The Department of Community Development is in the process of reviewing your application. The
following information is needed to continue review of your project.
The site plan needs to be revised to show the 20-foot setback from roads and the five -foot setback
from adjacent residential parcels.
The site plan needs to show the limits of clearing as well as the location of the high -visibility fencing
and silt fence.
Roof runoff needs to be addressed to comply with stormwater requirements. It appears that a
downspout dispersion trench may work.
Submit a revised site plan that shows property line setbacks, limits of clearing, location of silt fencing
and high-visibility fencing, and a stormwater proposal to address roof runoff .
Please submit the above information to the Department of Community Development within 90 days
of the date of this letter which would be 6/29/2021. Please call 360-379-4450 to speak with the
assigned planner if you have any questions.
