Exercise caution when opening attachments or clicking links, especially from unknown senders. My name is Kate Anstine, I live at 2103 Haines Street in Port Townsend. I am writing to protest the proposal to develop semi-communal housing for the homeless at the county owned property off of Cape George road. I am extremely familiar with this parcel of land and am astonished that this ill-advised project was proposed by Greg Brotherton. This property is completely unsuitable for this purpose. Besides it's complete lack of available social services, handicapped accessibility, infrastructure or transportation, it can't serve the basic human needs of being able to easily access food and running water. In addition, this property is an important bird nesting and feeding area and also serves as a wildlife corridor. A much better solution can be found for our housing dilemma. I suggest using the Park and Ride parking lot as a tiny home space as it checks all the boxes for accessibility and ease of oversight. I demand open public comment on this proposal to develop the Cape George property formerly known as the Horse Park. Sincerely, Kate Anstine 360 531 1997
