Subject:Proposed homeless encampment lacking facilities.

opening attachments or clicking links, especially from unknown senders.
Please consider the Park and Ride parking lot as a possible temporary solution for some of the
homeless folks.
Wooden tent structures would do well there.
Food, transportation and restrooms are available.
The police could incorporate regular drive by check ins for the safety of "campers" and
neighbors.
Placing these folks out of sight is a terrible idea for all parties concerned.
These vulnerable people need access to transportation and resources- water,sewer,trash.
Council's suggestion to place them out of sight of tourists at their own peril is cruel and short
sighted to say the least. Please try again. I believe spaces with visibility will be safer for all
