Subject: Cape George homeless camp
I can’t believe that you folks have been talking about this for 9 months and never
got input from residents in this area. Sounds like you talked to lots of folks except
us. Totally poor proposal to stick them out here with no water / sanitation,
transportation, no cooking facilities. Having open fires in this area will be
a recipe for disaster. It appears your only justification is to get
them out of the fair grounds. Provide a couple of porto potties
and sweep them under the carpet. Well thanks so much.
Already there are many unhappy people around here hearing
about this at the last minute. You need to have better
judgement. We will remember every one of you putting this
together and work hard against your political career in the
future.
