I would like to ask the board to continue requiring, preferable, or advising, those in the county
to continue to properly wear masks in business buildings, at outdoor gatherings, and outdoorswhen other people are around. It is a small sacrifice to make while time and more data and
studies, help us all to get a better understanding of the Covid-19 virus and variants and how tominimize their effects long term.
If state restrictions are greatly reduced, or dropped, tourism in the county will very likelyincrease and that increase will bring people from many areas where the virus is not as
controlled, and those people, if unmasked, could create greater exposure in Jefferson Countyand set us back for another year.
I would like to participate in public music performance this year, but most likely will not ifthere are no mask requirements.
