RE: Request for Board of County Commissioners approval of a$1,100,000 Public
Infrastructure Fund Request for Proposals Round
STATEMENT OF ISSUE: The Public Infrastructure Fund has accumulated enough fund balance to
warrant another Request for Proposals round.
ANALYSIS: The Public Infrastructure Board met on Wednesday,June 16, 2021. The financial position
of the fund was presented to the Board along with a recommendation that they approve a new Request for
Proposals round with $1,100,000 available to fund approved projects. The Board unanimously approved
the staff recommendation.
FISCAL IMPACT: This request, in and of itself,has no fiscal impact. However, its approval will
eventually lead to a fiscal impact of as much $1,100,000 to be borne by the Public Infrastructure Fund—
Fund 306.
RECOMMENDATION: That the Board of County Commissioners approve a Public Infrastructure
Request for Proposals round in an amount not to exceed$1,100,000.
