Greetings:
Hans Daubenberger works as the Habitat Biologist for the S'Klallam Tribe in Port Gamble, not the Skokomish,
and he has set up a meeting that shall bring together three First Nations, but not the Skokomish Nation with which
they are litigating.

My understanding is that Hans D. took over for Ted Labbe, who worked for the Port Gamble S'Klallam tribe (not
the Skokomish). Yes?

Al and Stacie:
I asked Hans from the Skokomish nation to contact the tribe directly regarding the meeting below, which I cannot
attend as I will be returning to the west coast from FEMA training that day. Maybe someone else can attend on
behalf of the County.

Thank you for the invitation to discuss our proposed master planned resort; Pleasant Harbor Marina and
Golf Resort to the S'Klallam Tribal Councils on Monday, September 25, 2006. As a courtesy, I copied
representatives from both Statesman and Jefferson County so that they are aware of the upcoming
Meeting.
In preparation of our presentation, please forward a list of issues that the Councils would like us to
address at the meeting in order that we are prepared.
Your assistance and response is greatly appreciated. Look forward to meeting you on September 25,
2006.
Sincerely,
James Mazak
