Johnson peckassoc@comcast. net Fwd: Response to Scoping Comments Fwd: Part Two of Scoping Comments During our conference call on the 9th, let's discuss the Scoping comments received, whether the County plans to prepare a response to these, or whether the comments willjust be used as input to confirming the scope of the EIS and technical reports (consistent with the intent of WAC 197-1 1-408[4]). I have copied into this message below Garth's instruction to one of the technical team members. ln a telephone conversation with Garth today, I told him that I had not yet talked with you to confirm the County's preference for how/whether there will be a direct response to Scoping comments received, and that I would like to send a consistent message about this to all technical team members before any action is taken (since Garth had his Administrative Assistant distribute the full set of Scoping comments to them). Simple place them in a spread sheet and address the responses generally . Start with an opening statement. "From the letters received from the October 2009 scoping meeting, the following responses are summarized in an easy to understand format. I have used this structure since most of the enquiries were similar or exactly the same content, and this chart identifies the enquiry with the appropriate response." 1 M.
