Wetland delineations in Jefferson County are generally good for 5 years. The only exception to this would be if there is reason to suspect that site conditions have changed (and that
the wetland boundaries have also changed), the time frame could be less than five years.

Subject: Wetland Delineation Question
Hi,
I was wondering how long Jefferson County would consider a wetland delineation to be valid. We have Corps approval and a jurisdictional determination, but the wetlands were delineated
in 2006. I have heard that wetland delineations are valid for approximately 5-years, is that true?
I appreciate your time and help,
Jennifer
