Dear Joel,
Re: Pleasant Harbor Marina & Golf Resort
We met with a number of The Tribes on September 25`I', 2010 in order to satisfy
questions or concerns that could impact the SEIS approval process.
At this meeting was Mr. Tim Cullinan (tcullinan(i),pnptc.org with the Point No Point
Treaty Council.
Tim has made a request to Geo Engineers in offering his expertise in terms of 2 issues:
The prevention of the Elk Herd entering the property in order to graze.
NOTE: We explained the 6 ft. high sound attenuation wall that parallels Hwy 101 to
the northerly extent of the property and a potential Elk Fence paralleling the golf
course lands on the North side consisting of 6 ft. high wire hatch fencing.
2) The Wildlife Corridor should be sent to Mr. Titre Cullinan. He will endorse the
proposed 200 ft. Conservation Easement, along with the 35 ft. Riparian Setback along
with your corridor that utilizes the wetlands.
Summary:
The Tribes were very impressed with the information we provided and would like to have
a long term business relationship with the Resort.
Thank you,
M. Garth Mann
