1) The "Air Quality Report" for Green House Gas Emissions is being formatted by an international group of Carbon
Merchants. /
This study is to determine the potential for Carbon Credits due to the Green House Gas Emission solutions that have
been incorporated into the Resort Community.
2) The Exterior and Interior Lighting is coming from a Group out of Las Vegas (Michael Bornyk). Michael is also a
manufacturer of Energy Star Lighting for the US using special Compact Fluorescents, Low Voltage, and LED Lighting.
His design will incorporate the Dark Sky System for exterior lighting as well as low energy consumption fixtures simulating
LEED. Michael has been working to find the perfect interior monitoring program, to prevent wastage of energy
when a Terrace or Villa or Area is not occupied.
3) The Energy System has been analyzed though almost every known energy source we could investigate.
We have eliminated from the different sources of Energy:
*Wind Turbine
*Solar Roof Mounted Photo -Voltaic
*100 foot Head to generate Water Turbine Energy
:Wave or Tide Motion to drive twin turbines at the mouth of the Harbor.
We have ended up with a Collaborative System that incorporates the existing Transmission from Mason County PUD,
combined with the Energy and BTU's created from a series of COGENERATION plants (CHP). The CHP will work
successfully with the Geothermal Heating/Cooling System exchanging temperatures through our Reservoir, as well as
generating energy for the heat pumps and fan coils for the Resort.
All in all, the combination that has been formatted will establish new standards of excellence within the County.
