The background of this is that Todd Wexman wrote me a letter and said "explain this apparent conflict of interest" and
he attached a letter he intended to have published in one of our two newspapers. I replied that there was no conflict of
interest and asked that he not send in a letter that was not factual. He apparently did send it in to the PDN.

Attached is a letter that the Peninsula Daily News was considering publishing. I did not see it in print but was told last
week that it was in the printed edition. I never found it on line. I thought the paper should have asked the County for
their comment but apparently they declined.

I received a call from DWJ this afternoon.
He was not aware of the letter to the Editor accusing the County of being controlled by Statesman.
Obviously he was concerned.
Please send to DWJ a copy of the letter to the Leader Post that makes these false representations.
