Johnson Ref: Brinnon- Pleasant Harbor Master Plan Development Dear Mr. Johnson, We are owners of "Slip Licenses" for slips A-3 and B-26 at Pleasant Harbor Marina. The present owner, Statesman, is proposing to change the traffic pattern and parking arrangement at the marina from the "Binding Site Plan". We believe these changes will cause irreparable damage to our investment and to the continuing operation of the marina, to the detriment of the local economy. All of the other marinas that we know of in the Northwest have adequate off loading and parking areas adjacent to the marina. Statesman is proposing to use a shuttle system to get from parking areas off site to the ramp heads for off-loading gear and supplies. Most active boaters will not put up with this type inconvenience and will simply move their boats elsewhere. Those of us who own slip "Licenses" will lose our investment. We urge you to NOT allow changes but to maintain the traffic pattern on the Binding Site Plan with the exception of upgrades to the road system to comply to the "Plan" ; for Fire and Safety; and to maximize Parking. We appreciate your consideration in this matter. Due to our investment, we feel very strongly about this change Statesman is proposing.
