Dear Sir;
My wife and I retired to live aboard our sailboat and have been tenants here at Pleasant
Harbor Marina for over 10 years. In that time I have seen many changes under a variety
of owners and management, some good ideas and some not so. But by far the worst
idea I have seen is the one recently proposed by Garth Mann and the Statesman group
concerning the new parking regulations and access to the docks.
If implemented this plan would severely restrict my access to my home. As a retired
man I enjoy the freedom from being a clock watcher, and the ability to come and go as I
please. I am also partially disabled and living on my social security. I will not be able to
afford to pay someone to drive me to my access ramp outside of normal working hours.
Please give this very serious consideration when you make your decisions on planning
permission for Statesman Corporation.
