First of all, your report appears consumer informative and conclusive of the results with the formatting of the consultant's reports. I feel you have done a very fine presentation. The Statesman Group of Companies is our Canadian Corporation, however, the entity that should be shown as the applicant is a Washington Corporation called PLEASANT HARBOR RESORT LLP. (confirmed by Kevin lngalls) 1) SITE DESCRIPTION: (2-5) Craig Peck has sent us a report showing the details and impacts of realigning the WDFW road to service their Boat Launch Please advise if you have seen this report?> Power, Propane Gas and Communication: (2:1al The KVA's have been calculated to meet the huge buffer required for the Resort (Hargis Eng) Let me know if this calculation is required? The Water Management and Waste Water Management is preferred by the designer of the \AAffTP to be an in-house Private Utility District . Should Century Link not be available to meet the criteria of the Resort, we will revert to Private Dish System. 2) THE ARCHTTECT WILL ADDRESS THE VARIOUS ALTERNATTVES IN THErR COMMENTS (2-21-22-251 We eliminated the Bocce Ball Court due to lack of demand, and added the TREE-TOPPER adventure and ZIP-LINE as well as the Amphi-Theater The ZIP-LINE does require a secured pole at the Marina Area to the south-west of the pool. These amenities are associated with our Entertainment Director located at the Maritime Village's FAMILY FUN CENTER The main pool off the Terrace 1 building, actually has an indoor water slide for children with the vinyl pass{hru from the indoor to outdoor pool. 3) FLOAT PLANE DOCK: The neighbor on the south side of the Harbor presently has his personal float plane docked adjacent to the shoreline We will consult with him in terms of the permitting process 4l BENEFITS AND DISADVANTAGES:(2:7) 1 ' Other than the Maritime Village and the Entrance Signage; there will not be visual disturbance from either highway 101 or the southerly shoreline in terms of impacts of potential view interruptions or water resource disturbances (Scott Bender Response). 5) WATER MANAGEMENT POLTCY AND WASTE WATER MANAGEMENT PLAN (3.2-13-15) These reports are being prepared by Consultares, and will be available for the final version of your report. I believe the reports from our project engineer are submitted monthly and not weekly? Any well that fails that is upstream from Pleasant Harbor Resort, must have been suitable constructed to meet the State of Washington's standards 6) TUNTCATES: Don Coleman has replace the wooden docks that were our concern for Tunicate attachments. It does not appear that the Tunicate issue is as much a concern at Pleasant Harbor Marina.(report MOU) 7l sErs (3.8-1-2) the Hargis Engineering estimate of Mega Watts has included a redundancy factor required by regulations. No-longer is electrical energy being derived from bio-diesel cogeneration CHP sources. The Restaurants will require propane for cooking at the Maritime Center and Terrace Building 1. 8) BoCc (3.84) Steve Taylor will provide his availability report for energy for the final ElS. Pleasant Harbor Resort is in the process ot SHADOWING LEED PROGRAM 9) TRANSPORTATTON (3.9) Did you ask Michael Reed to review your interpretation of his report? The resort will have golf cart transportation available on-site, and low fuel consumption mini cars available for rent off- site. 1 0) EMPLOYMENT (3.11 -2-5-71 Presently there are 11 full and partime employees to accommodate the marina and security Additional employees are required during the summer months where we increase our staff by +l- 60% The Economic Report for notification by USCIS is dated May 22113 Employee housing is designed with lock-out suites to accommodate 104 occupants. The affordability is accounted as a deduction from competitive wages. 11) RURAL CHARACTER (3.124-5) To maintain a high Pervious and Natural ruralenvironment the building heights were increased in the preferred alternative The revised SMP moved the Marina Village to the corner of Black Point Rd and Highway 101, and is the only structure that is easily visible from the highway. The product known as the VILLAS and VISTAS are marketed towards the mature buyer (Boomers).
