Dear David:
RE: Pleasant Harbor Marina and Golf Resort
We have been in conversation with Bridget Kaminski-Richardson at DNR pertaining to the
requirement for a means of rapid emergency service provided through Pleasant Harbor Resort as
a condition to our proposed Resort development.
Bridget pointed out that the renewed DNR lease includes the I .13 acres of water to the south of
the main marina, and this access includes the shared dock between Pleasant Harbor and Hal &
Janice Richardson.
Our question to you, at Jefferson County and DNR is the potential use of this dock area that
would need to be modified, would accommodate a float plane capable of transporting a person
that could be placed on a gurney and flown to a hospital.
We would need to receive permission from the shared owner or if practical, acquire this
property. Your response to this proposed setting to meet the emergency service provision will
serve the purpose of opening the conversation with DNR in order to meet this requirernent for
the Resort.
Please advise of the current status of the Resort's approval process, as of this date.
