Thanks! You might let them know that this is the best opportunity to influence changes and/or mitigation on
environmental impacts before the Final SEIS is release. lf we get enough substantive input to make feasible changes, it
may warrant modification of the preferred alternative or the development of a third alternative (WAC 197-11-560(1)).

I received your letter this morning offering to meet with the HCEC to discuss our concerns about the proposed Pleasant
Harbor/Black Point resort as described in our January 5,zOtS comments on the Draft Supplemental Environmental
lmpact Statement for that project. Our next board meeting is scheduled for next Wednesday (the 25th) and I will make
sure that your suggestion for meeting with us will be discussed by board members at that time. I will let you know what
the board decides and get back to you the following day.
