Subject: Residential Unit numbers and Staff Housing
Team,
While going through the Development Agreement (DA) and came up with a discrepancy in residential units for the Golf
Course area. The DA page 8, Phases 2-4 has a total of 844 units, while the SEIS Alternative 2 & 3 lists 822 units. Also the
SEIS page 2-35, Phase 3 does not list out the Sea View Vista or Golf Vista units as the DA does. The total approved
number of units is 890 of which 52 are for staff housing & 1 for Pleasant Harbor House and 1 for Harbor View
House. This leaves 836 over 4 phases. ln Phase 1: 66 Units are at the Maritime Village.
This leaves for phase 2-4 a total of 77O units .
Also, I notice that the staff housing will not be constructed until Phase 3. Where will the staff be living before Phase
3? lt seems to me that at least a portion of the staff housing should be constructed in Phase 2. Agreed...the Staff
Housing will be commenced in Phase 2, and operational during Phase 2 and 3
Garth, could you check my numbers and let me know where the error is? Also, could you explain why staff housing will
not be constructed until Phase 3?
Thanks! As we get closer to the end of this process I will likely be sending out more emails like this, or calling you for
clarification. We can also discuss this at our Monday morning calls. This is a good concept..Thanks
