l've forwarded to the Habitat and Wildlife Bios that cover that area.
Bryan Murphie is the Wildlife Bio.
Margie Bigelow is the Habitat Bio and I sent her your emails. I sent it to Joshua Benton as well to see if
he covered that area.

I thought I saw a comment that your agency was contacted.
This "hoped for project" has been going on for near a decade. JeffCo staff had to be paid to
work with the "developer" in order for to move it forward.
Below are some concerns from the opposing community goup. Olympic Environmental
Council, Sierra Club, and Friends of Miller Peninsula State Park also have a list of concerns
Following I'll send the JEFFCO announcement and link to the full FSEIS report and public
hearing.

Friends,
Please attend the Jefferson County Planning Commission Meeting on January 6 at 6:30 in the Brinnon School
gym. This meeting is for the Planning Commission to hear responses to the Final Determination of Non
Significance regarding a proposed resort and golf course on Black Point. The developer presenting this
proposal is Garth Mann of Statesman Corporation, a Canadian company.
Based on the testimony of you and others, the Planning Commission will make a recommendation to the
county commissioners about whether to approve the proposal and what conditions, if any, Statesman must
complete if the development proposal is approved. You can discuss why you feel the FSEIS is inadequate in
addressing the impacts the project will have or general project concems.
lf the Planning Commission recommends non-approval of the resort proposal, the County Commissioners
could then vote not to approve it. Even if you have given written or spoken testimony in the past, this meeting
could be the most important yet. The Planning Commission has not read previous testimony, and, we hear, is
unaware of opposition to the proposal.
You can speak and/or hand in written comments. Your written comments must have your name and address on
them. You may be allowed three minutes to speak. Your written comments can be as long and as detailed as
you wish.
Be sure to hand in your written statement for the official record.
lf you are unable to attend, please send comments with your full name and mailing address
to: pcommissiondesk@co. iefferson.wa. us
Aftached is testimony from the Brinnon Group, which may help you prepare your own testimony. lf you want
more information on FSEIS, the cunent proposal, let us know.
Thank you for your concern about our local community
