Planning Commission Co-Chair Loma Smith found this draft document (link below) for Pacific County MPRs
that I believe we should take a look at as a part of our comprehensive plan review. As I have mentioned to
many of you in various conversations, I think it's important to take what we have leamed from the current MPR
process and use it to update our own comp plan and code (and whatever other documents) with regard MPRs in
Jefferson County into the future. Lorna brought this document forward as an example of a very clear
articulation of the role of MPRs in Pacific County and the process of creating one. I found it easy and clear to
read and I'd like to see us include something just as clearly articulated in our own comprehensive plan review:

Similarly and during the same comp plan cycle, I would like to see us look at revising the current Jefferson
County guidelines on golf courses, which point to King County guidelines adopted in 1993.
