HomeMy WebLinkAbout164Patty & Phil: I spoke with David Sullivan and his schedule is clear after 10:30 on 9/20 for a gov to gov meeting. The rest of the week was busy for him. Will we be going to PGST or will they come here? Called JT to inform him of the time change to 3:30 on the 9/15 mtg; works for him. I will send the invite to all once I get the info from Nicole after lunch. When I spoke with Roma this morning, I informed her about the attorneys being present and she stated their (PGST) attorney Amber Penn-Roco will be at the conference call. She is located in Seattle. Can we schedule a go to meeting since the folks wanting to call in (particularly from PGST) will exceed the capacity of call ins for the DCD conference phone; and 2. Roma asks to receive the excerpt(s) from the DA that we referenced for Friday's discussion (and that is subject to approval by Statesman) "as soon as possible." My response to the first item is: Sure let's go ahead and use Go To Meeting. Especially since it seems that the PGST participants will not be co-located around a single office speaker phone in one common office. For the second item: I believe we made it clear to Statesman when they provided conditional approval to release a section(s) of the DA for the purposes of this cultural resource-specific meeting, that such a release was not to be made until Thursday afternoon. I may not recall correctly so respectfully ask PhilH to provide advice and guidance on this. Roma still needs to acknowledge (and potentially follow through on her end) the fact that the two of the three parties participating in Friday afternoon at 3:30pm have their attorneys present. We want no surprises. Michelle you and I discussed also the following: - PhilH is the best agent to request time for Exec Session on Monday the 18th. Recall Morley's good idea was to review absolutely everything and to also have Commissioner Sullivan hear from his colleagues before the next Chiefs meeting -the next Chiefs meeting is targeted for Wednesday or sometime before the end of next week. PhilH should advise if we begin to find out people's availability now or wait until immediately after Friday's meeting. There are risks to both. -the joint Board/Planning Commission meeting to walk through the DA is on for either the 25th (a heavy lift) or the 2nd. Much is needed to be done prior to that including a PC availability check-in as well as an Agenda Request which summarizes the basics. A power point would be a good tool for this joint meeting AND everything posted on the dedicated web page. Are we there yet? Close but not quite. I am sorry not to be there in person helping out. Even given these near term big steps it's probably best to go one thing at a time. I still promised and will provide draft letter in response to Aug 9 letter. That's next PattyC Sent from my iPhone
