Dear Chair Miller, Mr. Pavel, Mr. Gouley and Ms. Miller;
On behalf of Commissioner David Sullivan, myself and Michelle Farfan, we want to thank you very much for traveling to
our offices to meet with us. We learned a great deal and very much appreciated the time and thought you provided in
informing us about your rich history, culture and careful natural resource management. As we expressed at the end of
the meeting, we would like to continue to work together and consult with you about specific projects and about
community development in general.
We wrote up some notes on the meeting. We respectfully request your review of these notes and to please let us know
if anything is missed or needs correcting. We look forward to continue to work with you.

The Navy mitigation fund is shared with the Port Gamble S'Klallam tribe, however the Navy does recognize
Skokomish primacy and provides a larger share and favored nation status to the Skokomish. The Suquamish
Tribe is not included in the Navy's Bangor site mitigation. They did sue and lost in federal court.
Also there is a "form" that should be "from" somewhere in the notes.
