Subject: RE: Pleasant Harbor - Draft Development Agreement and Draft
Development Regulations for the MPR
Ms. Morris and Ms. Moore-Lewis:
Since you each have requested a copy of the draft development agreement
for the Pleasant Harbor Master Planned Resort (PHMPR), including in
public records requests, I wanted to let you know that the Department of
Community Development’s (DCD) web page on Pleasant Harbor has been
updated and has the current draft of the development agreement available
for public review. You may access that updated web page and the draft
development agreement in folders at this link:
http://test.co.jefferson.wa.us/WebLinkExternal/Browse.aspx?dbid=0&starti
d=1757802&row=1&cr=1.
Furthermore, the development regulations that were the result work in
2016 by the Planning Commission also are posted and can be accessed in a
separate folder via the above link. DCD compared the current draft
development agreement with the 2016 Planning Commission recommended
development regulations and are suggesting revisions. These suggested
revisions are explained—section-by-section—in a staff matrix that also
can be accessed in a folder via the above link. Many of the proposed
DCD revisions explain how the draft development agreement achieves the
specific requirements for the PHMPR and its mitigation requirements
contained in the 2008 ordinance.
Finally, the Board of County Commissioners (BoCC) decided its Agenda
today for the January 16, 2018 meeting. The BoCC Agenda will be
published tomorrow (Friday) with an agenda item for an informational
session on the PHMPR. An explanatory slide show prepared by DCD will be
attached the agenda item. To see the BoCC's Agenda (on or after Friday)
and DCD’s slide show you can click the following link:
http://test.co.jefferson.wa.us/weblinkexternal/0/fol/8/Row1.aspx. No
action will be proposed by the BoCC on either the Development Agreement
or the Development Regulations.
This updates, fulfills and provides a final definitive response to your
public records requests for the draft development agreement. If, for
any reason, you are not able to access the documents, please let me
know.
I hope to see you at the BoCC informational session on January 17,
2018. I expect it will start at around 9:30 a.m. It will be held in
the Superior Court in the second floor of the Jefferson County
Courthouse.
