The increase in tourists into the area will have an impact on the public beaches
in the area. Both the Duckabush and the Dosewallips are minutes away from
the proposed Blackpoint project. In order to mitigate the impact from
increased non-treat5r intertidal harvest the Port Gamble S'Klallam Tribe
proposed the following:
o 4OO bags of seeded oyster cultch ever]r 4 years to be split between
Duckabush and Dosewallips.
o 1 million clam seed every 3 years for Dosewallips.
