Bill: Jefferson County Community Development PO Box 1220 Port Townsend, WA 98368 NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Pleasant Harbor Master Planned Resort Development Agreement and Zoning Regulations Notice is hereby given that pursuant to RCW 36.70.795, RCW 36.70A.390, a Public Hearing will be held on Monday, April 9, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. in the Jefferson County Superior Courtroom, 1820 Jefferson Street, Port Townsend, Washington for the purpose of taking written and oral testimony regarding possible adoption of Development Regulations and a Development Agreement for the proposed Pleasant Harbor Master Planned Resort. An Ordinance adopting the Pleasant Harbor Master Planned Resort development agreement and an Ordinance adopting staff-recommended revisions to Planning Commission recommended development regulations amending Title 17 and 18 Jefferson County Code are being considered at this public hearing by the Board of County Commissioners. The County Commissioners will be considering adoption of a proposed development agreement with the Statesman Corporation. The proposed development agreement provides terms for the development of the Pleasant Harbor Master Planned Resort in order to comply with specific conditions contained in Ordinance 01-0218-08, and for the development to satisfy specific mitigation measures published in environmental impact statements prepared for the Pleasant Harbor Master Planned Resort. The County Commissioners will also be considering adoption of staff recommended revisions to recommended code amendments forwarded by the Planning Commission. The public can view the complete text of the proposed Ordinance for the Pleasant Harbor Master Planned Resort Development Agreement, and of the proposed Ordinance amending Title 17 and Title 18 to adopt zoning and other development regulations, by going to the Latest News section of the County’s web page www.co.jefferson.wa.us and clicking on the links. The public is encouraged to provide written testimony on the ordinances via email to jeffbocc@co.jefferson.wa.us prior to and at any time through the end of the Public Hearing, where oral testimony will be accepted. Written testimony may also be submitted any time by mail to the Jefferson County Commissioners, P.O. Box 1220, Port Townsend, WA 98368 provided it is received by the end of the Public Hearing.
