Commission. Participated in drafting letters to the Board of County
Commissioners (BOCC). She commented on changes made to
Planning Commission recommendations by staff. She urged the
BOCC deny this proposal.

there. When she read about the project she was concerned about
environmental protection. Statesman addressed their concerns. They
noticed the area was getting depressed. She researched revenue
and found that only property tax is main revenue and many
properties are owned by government and not on tax rolls.

can come into the Jefferson County Treasury. He reads paper every
week. Always articles about needing more money for social
programs. The Pleasant Harbor development will expand the money
available to Jefferson County.

there for many years. She urged the BOCC to approve this proposal
at its earliest convenience. She is impressed with this project and
the environmental standards it sets.

commented on needed protections.

Note: Clerk, Superior Commented on the Wildlife Management Plan in the proposal. The
Wildlife Management Plan is adopted by reference, rather than
specific requirements. The presentation included a slide talking
about specificity. The plan does not have specific enforceable
language in it. He urged the BOCC not adopt this agreement until
the Wildlife Management Plan is Fixed.

studied the merits and environmental concerns of the Master
Planned Resort over the years. Further unit reductions are needed to
mitigate impacts. There has not been adequate concern given to the
value of the kettle ponds.

Area Plan 20 years ago. The majority of the people at that time
supported it. He was also a Planning Commissioner for the County.
He is happy with the proposal. They have addressed the
environmental concerns.

in 1994. The planned development is way too big. The Community is
spit and they don't have an opportunity to vote. But they did vote
for the BOCC. She urged them to protect the environment.

desparately need this.

be like. Taxes, will they go up or down. Water supply. He has a well,
and worries the resort will suck up all the water and his will go salty.
His solitude and quiet. He will be looking 10 years of construction.
How will this project affect the problems in south county. Affordable
housing. This project won't do anything for housing. South County
health care.

tribes being the only one's building a Master Planned Resort. He is
substitue teacher and sees what poverty does to kids. He is a
proponent of this thing. It is time to move this forward with a future
vision for this County.

something that is so fragile. She spoke against the proposal.

spoke against the proposal, also with good reasons. Basically, we
have a golden goose that has been kept off the nest. We need to let
that goose get back on the nest. The environmental impacts appear
to be addressed. He supports this proposal.
