J Oru ttn6 ,,1l 12 €@Y{ BOCC Department of Community Development Prosecuting Attorney Please enter the attached comment into the record, and please read it carefully to asses liabilities of the county and its taxpayers. As a further comment, I object to the presentation by Patty Charnas, Director of Community Development, at the public hearing on the MPR, Monday, April 9. The presentation was like a public relations promo for the developer. The Planning Commission memorialized its serious concerns about the MPR proposal, which should be part of the presentation. There are serious environmental and financial concems not addressed. The Tribes are clearly not happy and feel like they've been betrayed by this developer. Ms. Charnas presentation made it seem like these concems are a mere nuisance and we are all in lockstep with approving the Statesman proposal. You must be aware of the serious liabilities in the current course, and the high likelihood that this proposal is in clear violation of the Growth Management Act. Sincerely, Mark Rose P.O.
