Subject: Recycling Services Request for Proposal Opening
Statement of Issue:
Responses to a Request for Proposals (RFP) for Recycling Services will be received up
until the hour of 10:00 a.m. on July 19, 2021 at the County Commissioners Office.
Public Works requests that staff open the sealed proposals in the Public Works
conference room as part of the BoCC's regular meeting at approximately 10:30 a.m.
Analysis/Strategic Goals/Pro's &t Con's:
Public Works will review proposals and make a recommendation to the Board of
County Commissioners after careful consideration. Contractor selection will be made
using criteria stated in the RFP. Public Works anticipates making a recommendation to
the Board of County Commissioners by or on August 16, 2021.
Fiscal Impact/Cost Benefit Analysis:
Staff time for the RFP process and analysis is budgeted for.
Recommendation:
Include the opening of sealed responses by Public Works staff as part of the BoCC's
July 19th regular meeting.
