Description: Antenna Modifications on Existing Tower
Summary: Conforms
Sidesway Engineering has completed our post-construction structural observation of the recently installed
antenna equipment at approximately the 125' elevation of the existing 150' self-supporting tower. The
modifications performed on this site include the removal of (9) panel antennas, (6) RRUs, and all existing
coax to accommodate the installation of (6) panel antennas, (6) RRUs, (2) HCS pendant, and (2) HCS
cables on three existing sector frames. Additionally, (2) cabinets and a utility H-frame were installed as
part of this project.
We performed visual observation of the equipment installations in accordance with Section 1704.6 of the
2018 International Building Code and it is our opinion that the work was performed in general
conformance with the approved Tangent Systems construction documents.
The antenna equipment connection hardware was provided by their respective manufacturers and
appropriately fit the pipe mounts. None of the antenna connection hardware incorporated high strength
bolts which would require special inspection.
Our observation was performed subject to the standard of care applicable to professional services and
doesn't warrant or guarantee that all conditions were discovered. Please call if you have any questions or
