The week of August 23, 2021 has been reserved as Employee Appreciation Week for 2021. FISCAL IMPACT There is no fiscal impact to Jefferson County. RECOMMENDATION: Approve Proclamation re: Proclaiming the week of August 23, 2021 as Jefferson County Employee Recognition Week REVIEWED BY: lf- Z / M k McCaule �,nterim County Admmr r ate PROCLIVVIAT I ON WHEREAS, Jefferson County is entrusted by its citizens to deliver an array of community services aimed at protecting the community's health and safety, and enhancing the welfare of the community now and for future generations, and; WHEREAS, the County depends on the personal integrity and professionalism of its public servants to carry out this responsibility, and; WHEREAS, the public employees of Jefferson County continue to display efficiency, accuracy, innovation, friendliness and a genuine care of the public trust in their approach to serving the community. NOW THEREFORE, the Board of Commissioners of Jefferson County wish to express their appreciation of the services provided to the public by Jefferson County employees by proclaiming the week of August 23, 2021 as: JEFFERSON COUNTY EMPLOYEE RECOGNITION WEEK BE IT FURTHER PROCLAIMED, that the Board of Commissioners urge all citizens to join them in recognizing County employees for their efforts.
