MINUTES
Special Meeting of May 30, 1995
The special meeting was called to order by Chairman Glen Huntingford.
Commissioner Robert Hinton and Commissioner Richard Wojt were both present.
Continuation of Public Hearing re: Budget Appropriations/ Extensions for
Various County Departments: Public Services Director Gary Rowe said that he contacted each
office and asked for more information. The Assessor was the only Department that submitted
additional information. He modified the IDMS request from a $20,000 appropriation to an
$11,000 budget extension. Gary Rowe suggested that before appropriations are requested in the
future, departments be required to review their entire budget to determine if any costs savings can
be made to reduce the amount of the appropriations needed. The Board then reviewed each
specific requests and made the following changes:

The Health and Human Services and County Parks Improvement Fund requests were approved as
submitted. The Board concurred that these changes be made and that the Resolution ordering the
appropriations/extensions be placed on the next Consent Agenda.
