Brown an4 Larry W. Dennison in atten1ance. HEARING re: Proposed ludget Appropriation; Distri~t Court: Jess Minks, Jefferson County Pro at1.on icer was present wl;1en-Gnair- man Pitts opened the hearing reg rding the proposed budget a~propriation for the District Court. The app~opriation is necessary, Jess Minks advised, to allow the payment of 1St ate Industrial Insurance ~remiums on court. apPointedcommun.ity. ser~ice workers assigned to.va..rt.ous County and State agencies in Jefferson ounty. The $770.00 is an e timated figure based on the number of co munity service hours workedilast year. There is a question about the Co nty having to pay this premtum if the worker is assigned to work "for alState entity or another Cou~ty taxing district. When no one appeared to speak for or against the oroposed budget appropriation, Cha~rman Pitts closed the hearing. 'i . . I '. Commissioner Brown moved to appr~ve Resolution No. 29-85 ord~ring the budget appro riation for District Court to allow for payment! of the assigned by tthe Courts. PLANNING DEPARTMENT Agreement re: 1985 Coastal Zone Management Grant: Planning birector, David Goldsmith presented a Memorandum of Agreement between the County and the City of Port Townsend for tqe completion of the PortiTownsend Beach Enhancement Study portion of ~he County's Coastal ZoneiManage- ment grant from the Wa~hington State ?~O.E.A second agreemt~t with the Port of Port Towns~nd for complet1.00J of the Glen Cove Mar~ne Term- inal Feasibility Analysis was also presented. These agreememts will contract the County's tasks as outl~ned in the Coastal Zone ~anagement Grant to the City and tihe Port for sompletion. i ..
