the Model Litter Control Ordinanc with reference to the County
landfill and drop box sites, when the Chairman ope ed the hearing.
After Gary briefly reviewed the sections included i the Ordinance
the Chairman asked for comments for or against the, roposed Ordinance.
When no one appeared to speak for or against the pr posed Ordinance,
the Chairman closed the hearing. Commissioner Browl' noted that there
are some sections, of the Ordinance that ar, e more fa,r reaching than people
realize if the Ordinance is strictly enforced, such as placement of
litter receptacles and maintenance of such receptafles.
Gary Rowe added that the Ordinance deals with the l~gal aspects of the
