clude apprpximately 2,800 feet of 60 foot right~of- ay, was reviewed
by Rachel fathanson for the Board and nine interest,d Frea residents.

du.e to the:. following three unresolved concerns: 1) hree parcels of pro-
pertywoulij be landlocked, 2) The water main rupnin' dpwn this road and
3) fire prptection for homes along this right-o~-wa'. i
Chairman OI'Meara opened the public hearing and kske! fbr public comment
for the prpposal. The following six area resid~nts spbke in favor of
vacating tpis right-of-way: Stig Osterberg, Thbrne Ed~ards, Arnold Sather,
Nancy Rowet H.S. Christian and J.D. Simcoe. NO', one appeared to speak
against thp intent to vacate, and Chairman O'Meara lo~ed the hearing.

Due to owning property in the area, Chairman O'Mear: a~vised that he
would not Vote on this issue. In response to Chair ani O'Meara's query
regarding ~he landlocked parcels, Bti'an Sheltonl, Pu' lip Works Director,

wh~chis paved. Rachel Nathanson reported that! the e ~s no legal ease-
