as Brian Shelton. Director of Public Works, and iRac.el Nathanson, Assis-

Rachel Nathanson reported that the Fire Districy ha not had an opportunity
to devise a fire protection plan for the area. iThe r two main concerns
are the lack of fire hydrants in the area and tHe naccessibility of
the waterfront homes to the fire trucks. The Ffre 'istrict knows. how-
ever, that the fire protection problems in that lare, exist whether the
road is vacated or not. . ,
i
Brian Shelton detailed the possibilities for prdvid ng the three land-
locked lots with access, and noted that the nEdghbo ing property owners,
in each case, are willing to provide access eas~mens to tbe landlocked
parcels. Utility easements will also need to b~ ob.lained.
The Chairman closed the hearing and commissioneJ. Pi~. ts moved to approve
the vacation of a portion of the Woodman to Keyme Road (Lower Adelma
Beach Road) as described in the Intent to Vacat~, with the condition
that all access and utility easements be provid~d a'd documented. Chair-
