Pit s and Larry W. Dennison in attendance. BUSINESS FROM COUNTY DEPARTMENTS: PLANNING DEPARTMENT Open Space Classification: Harold Peters: A histor taken in regard to Mr. Harold Peters Open Space Agr and reviewed by Rachel Nathanson, Assistant Planner County Assessor had advised Mr. Peters by letter in Open Space Agreement was being terminated due to th access being a violation of the agreement. Mr. Pet Assessors action to the Board, at which time Mr. Pe mit an easement across his tidelands to allow publi two acres of property. The Board tabled Mr. Peters easement was received. Commissioner Pitts moved to bring the motion off th the Assessor's February letter and deny Mr. Peters' Dennison seconded the motion. Assessor, Jack Westerman, further reported that the Association is trying to put together legislation f pass that will define how Open Space Open Space pro assessed. This legislation would make a system for statewide and the assessment reduction would be bas of benefit derived by the public when property is a classification. Flood Control Projects: Brian Shelton presented fo the Board's review, four flood control project prospectuses tha will be submitted for State flood control funding. The projects are rioritized as follows: 1) Quilcene River -- County 2) Waterfront between Taylor and Madison - Ci Y of Port Townsend 3) South Bogachiel River -- County 4) Rock Creek/Hoh River -- County The three county projects total approximately $200, 00 of work with the State providing possibly $100,000 and the other $100,000 coming from the County or the people of the area.
