Dear Jefferson County Commissioners and Jefferson County Board of Health,
Your local League of Women Voters has approved and issued the attached statementregarding recent threats made toward our Public Health Officer. We have sent versions of this
to the Peninsula Daily News and the Port Townsend Leader. We hope both newspapers printour statement (submitted as Letters to the Editor) and hope that other civic organizations join
us in condemning threats toward public officials.
