Dear Board of County Commissioners,
It was interesting to see a new study finding "for boys 12-15 withoutmedical comorbidities receiving their second mRNA dose, the rate ofCardiac Adverse Events is 3.7 to 6.1 times higher than their 120-dayCOVID-19 hospitalization risk". And of course myocarditis is onlyone of many adverse events reported for these vaccines.
But what really struck me was a comment saying, "This studycompletely misses the point of young kids getting vaccinated. ...Whether or not they are at high risk relative to the adverse sideeffects, they should be vaccinated to reduce the probability ofolder, more at-risk people from getting it."
That's not just some random troll saying we should knowingly harmchildren to prevent potential harm to adults. ... I heard the exactsame response from a Jefferson County physician when I asked himabout kids' risk versus benefit at a Farmers' Market pop-up vaccineclinic a couple months ago.
When doctors promote harming children to reduce transmission, notonly are they betraying their own Hypocratic Oath, they are doing sofor no good reason, because the FDA acknowledges there is no evidencethat the vaccine can "reduce transmission of the virus".
This well-known fact belies and makes ridiculous the currentdiscrimination in our county against those unwilling to discloseHIPAA-protected health information concerning their vaccination status.
And it's not only kids who risk more harm than benefit... thoseenjoying robust natural immunity after getting covid have nothing togain and everything to lose from this vaccine. Likewise theimmunocompromised, those who had adverse reactions to previousvaccines, pregnant and nursing mothers, and many others should neverconsider taking this vaccine.
Yet all these people now face widespread discrimination. Shouldthose who have been jabbed twice feel happy and self-righteous thatthey are not currently the target of this discrimination?
Consider that the entire highly-vaccinated population of Israel hasjust been reclassified as unvaccinated, because their Health Ministersays, "the vaccine is valid only for a period of five or six months.After about half a year, you have to get a third dose. Otherwise, thevaccine loses its power."
The Times of Israel reports that "the 'Green Pass' system ... will
expire six months after the holder received their second or third
dose ... The ministry could not yet say if a fourth dose would berequired in six months."
Suppose you or a loved one had a bad reaction to the second dose...would you really feel safe risking a third, fourth, etc. dose every 6months indefinitely into the future?
Do we as a society really want to sign up for an endless subscriptionservice of barely-tested so-called vaccines that fail to preventtransmission and lose effectiveness in under six months... coupledwith discrimination and hatred drummed up against those who don't?
