A RESOLUTION FIXING A DATE FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON A FIRE PROTECTION
DISTRICT FOR A PORTION OF EASTERN JF,FTERESON COUNTY, TO BE EMM
AS FIRE PRCITECTION DISTRICT NO. 6, DEFINING PEED BOUNDARIES
THEREOF, AND PROVIDING FOR THE FIRST COMMISSIONERS THEREIN
WHEREAS, a petition for the establishment of a fire protection district
has been duly filed by 147 registered voters residing within the proposed District,
which signatures have been duly certified by the Jefferson County Auditor, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to RCW 52.04, a public hearing must be had on said
petition for the purpose of considering the boundaries of said Fire Protection
District, and naming the proposed first cannissioners therefor, it is hereby
RESOLVED, BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF JEFFERSON COUNTY, WASHINGTON, THAT,
On February 24, 1975, at the hour of 10:30 A.M. in the Conmissioners' Meeting
Roan in Jefferson County Court House, at Port Townsend, Washington, a public hearing
will be held to consider the submission to the voters of the affected area a proposal
to form a Fire Protection District in those areas of Jefferson County described as:
Sections 31 and 32 and the West 4 of Section 33, Range 1 West, Township 31
North; Sections 5 and 6 and the West 4 of Section 4 of Range 1 West, Township
30 North; Sections 7 and 8 and the West 4 of Section 9, all of Sections 16
through 22, inclusive, and Sections 26 through 30, inclusive in Township 30
North, Range 1 West; the Northeast 4 of Section 33, the North z of Section 34
and the Northwest 4 of Section 35, Township 30 North, Range 1 West; and
Sections 1, 12, 13, 24 and 23 in Township 30 North, Range 2 West; all in
relation to the Willamette Meridian.
At which time and place a date for election on the issue shall be set, and a
first Board of Commissioners named for submission on the ballot.
