A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING APPLICATION TO THE INTERAGENCY COMMITTEE FOR
OUTDOOR RECREATION (IAC) FOR ALL - TERRAIN VEHICLE FUNDS FOR THE PLANNING,
ACQUISITION, DEVELOPMENT, AND MANAGEMENT OF ATV TRAILS AND AREAS AS
PROVIDED IN THE 1972 ALL - TERRAIN VEHICLE ACT. (RCW 46.09)
WHEREAS, the County of Jefferson has qualified to receive All- terrain Vehicle (ATV)
Funds for ATV- related purposes, and
WHEREAS, the County of Jefferson considers it in the best public interest to provide
for the needs of ATV users within its jurisdiction;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners of the
County of Jefferson of the State of Washington,
1) Authorizes the Chairman to make application to the IAC for ATV Funds
available to it as its Fiscal Year 1975 apportionment, and be it
further resolved:
2) That the ATV Funds received be used in accordance with the Guidelines
for ATV Funds established by the IAC for the purposes specified therein,
and be it further resolved:
3) That this resolution be submitted to the IAC with the necessary Appli-
cation in order to facilitate the transfer of available ATV Funds from the
IAC to the Jefferson County Treasurer.
ADOPTED by the County of Jefferson of the State of Washington at its meeting held
February 10, 1975.
SIGNED and APPROVED by the Board of County Commissioners of the County of
Jefferson, this 10th day of February, 1975.

You are hereby requested to consider this application for All-
terrain Vehicle Funds and to approve the transfer of such funds
from the Outdoor Recreation Account to the applicant. This
opplieation has been prepared in comp lance with the'Guidelines
for ATV Funds - WAC 286 -26 and administrative procedures of the
Interagency Committee for Outdoor Recreation which are pursuant
thereto.
We understand that the use of the Funds for which this application
is submitted is governed by RCW 46.09 (the 1972 ATV Act) and the
Guidelines for ATV Funds of the Interagency Committee for Outdoor
Recreation which are pursuant thereto.
The amount of All- terrain Vehicle Funds for Fiscal Year' 1975 which
we are applying for is $ 1,272.73 as has been determined by
the Interagency Committee for Outdoor Recreation to be our apportion-
ment for the remainder of calendar year 1975.
