WHEREAS, Jefferson County Board of Commissioners on September 3, ] 997 called for a Request for Proposals
for the above mentioned project, and;
WHEREAS, due notice of the Request for Proposal was given as required by law, and;
WHEREAS, two proposals were received and opened during pubJic session for the week ofJanuary 5, 1998, and;
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the people of Jefferson County to select the most responsive of the two
acceptable proposals.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the best most responsive proposal was submitted by Advanced
Environmental Technical Services for the prices indicated in the cost table and that this proposal be accepted, and;
IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED, that the specifications and contract documents in their entirety as included in the
propo:>al are part of this acceptance.
