WHEREAS, after due consideration, and in contemplation of the language of the statute R.C.W. 36.34.130 and R.C.W. 39.33.020, it appears to the Jefferson County Board of Commissioners that it is in the public interest to declare the attached described real property as Surplus Property, all situate in the State of Washington, County of Jefferson. WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Jefferson County Board of County Commissioners to dispose of such Surplus, as indicated on the attached legal description, and made a part of this Resolution, and said sale shall be concluded with another political subdivision or l1lunicipality thereot~ and WHEREAS, notification was given and a PUBLIC HEARING was held by the Jefferson County Board of County Commissioners, February 23, 1998, at 2:00 P.M. at the Jefferson County Courthouse, Commissioners Chambers, P0l1 Townsend Washington, for the purpose of taking testimony concerning the aforementioned intent to declare surplus property and intent to sell surplus property to the Chimacul11 School District for the purposes of construction of a Educational Facility. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, it is the desire of the Jefferson County Board of County Commissioners to declare subject real property as Surplus, as indicated on the attached legal description, and made a part of this Resolution, and that a sale shall be concluded with another political subdivision, the Chimicllm School District for the purposes of constructing a public school facility, for the purchase price of$120,000.00. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, the Public Works Director/County Engineer is hereby directed to draft the necessary closing documents for legal review and final submission to the Board of County Coml1l issioners for final execution.
